ECS Limited is seeking a CMT Assistant Staff Project Manager to join our Carrollton team. This field-based role develops skills in construction observation, materials testing, and project workflows, under direction of senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in civil-related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn ASTM standards and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field tasks supporting construction materials testing projects.
• Perform field observation and testing with guidance from senior staff.
• Document site conditions and testing results in daily field reports.
• Communicate changes in site conditions or additional testing needs to project staff.
• Interact with contractors, technicians, and project team members on job sites.
• Participate in project meetings with senior staff as requested.
• Begin learning soil classification and testing methods.
• Perform testing on soils, aggregates, foundations, concrete, masonry, steel, asphalt, and fireproofing with limited supervision.
• Assist with preparation of calculations, reports, and project documentation.
• Support project lifecycle activities with limited office work as experience develops.
