Job summary

ECS Limited in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Staff Project Manager I to support field services and office work on complex projects.

You will assist with project execution, budgeting, documentation, and coordination, while advancing technical and project management skills under ECS core values.

No professional license is required initially, and driving may be needed to support field assignments.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a multi-disciplinary field listed in Required Qualifications.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work well in teams and independently.
• Basic understanding of CMT principles and ASTM testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support management of CMT projects, review daily field reports, and assist with issue resolution.
• Assist with project budgeting, invoicing, change orders, and collection efforts.
• Support preparation of proposals and project documentation.
• Perform or assist with laboratory testing, soil classification, and materials evaluation.
• Support testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, and asphalt.
• Review field reports and document project data.
• Assist with training and coordination of field staff on projects.
• Participate in project lifecycle activities from proposal through closeout.
• Communicate with project teams, contractors, and field personnel.
