ECS Limited is seeking an experienced CMT Department Manager in Houston to lead the construction materials testing group. This role manages operations, technical execution, and financial performance while guiding project delivery, staff development, and client satisfaction.

You will oversee engineers, project managers, and technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to company standards. Responsible for strategic growth and departmental leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree with 6+ years of related experience (or 10+ years without a degree)
• PE licensure preferred; strong engineering background in construction materials testing
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and financial acumen

Responsabilités

• Directs engineers, project managers, technicians, and staff
• Owns department P&L, budgets, forecasts, and KPI oversight
• Ensures safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance on all projects
• Leads business development, client relationships, and growth strategies
• Oversees proposals, pricing strategy, and resource allocation
• Promotes safety culture and aligns practices with company standards
