Job summary

Lorien Mount Airy is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our caring team in Mount Airy, MD. This part-time role supports residents under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and licensed staff, ensuring safe medication administration and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Part-Time schedule: 3p-11p.
• Every-other weekend availability (Sat/Sun).
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications per physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor residents for medication effects and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
• Collaborate with nurses and other team members to support high-quality resident care.
