Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a CMT Assistant Staff Project Manager to join our Cleveland team. This field-based role supports construction materials testing projects under senior staff guidance and offers hands-on learning in observation, testing, and project workflows.

You'll assist with field tasks, document site conditions and testing results, and communicate changes to the project team. With time, you’ll develop skills in calculations, reporting, and overall project support in a consulting setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Interest in construction materials testing and project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field tasks supporting CMT projects.
• Perform construction observation and testing with senior staff guidance.
• Document site conditions and testing results in daily field reports.
• Communicate changes in site conditions or testing needs to project team.
• Interact with contractors, technicians, and staff on job sites.
• Begin learning soil classification and testing methods.
