Job summary

Shawmut Design and Construction in New York, NY is seeking recent graduates to join its Construction Management Skills Training (CMST) Program. This 36-month rotation covers Project Management, Site Supervision, and Estimating, preparing trainees to become Assistant Project Manager, Assistant Superintendent, or Assistant Estimator.

Participants gain hands-on experience on live projects and learn Shawmut's end-to-end lifecycle approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required.
• A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Mechanical Engineering, etc. (no strict major requirement).
• Co-op or internship experience in construction strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project management tools and document control throughout a project.
• Assist with financial management and estimating as part of the program.
• Assist with site supervision and coordination to maintain Shawmut standards.
