Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a CMP Technician to join our high-volume wafer manufacturing team. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CMP equipment to achieve yield and productivity goals in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience, with familiarity reading schematics and complex drawings, and comfort with the physical demands of handling heavy equipment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• 7+ years with NXP (or affiliate) experience may qualify in lieu of degree.
• Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of CMP equipment.
• Must be able to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
• Must be physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Role Summary:

The CMP Equipment Maintenance Technician opportunity is in a high-volume semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment. The position is responsible for correctly maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to achieve manufacturing process yield and productivity goals.

Job Qualification:

Minimum of 5 years semiconductor manufacturing experience.

• A minimum of 7 years of NXP (or affiliate) experience may qualify in lieu of degree.
• Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of Semiconductor Chemical Mechanical Polishing equipment.
