CMP Process Engineer II – Process Dev & Customer Support

Job summary

Amtech Systems is seeking a Level II CMP Process Engineer to provide process consultation, engineering support, and technical services for Entrepix CMP platforms and related processes. You will work with AMAT Mirra, IPEC 472 and OnTrak Cleaner platforms in development and limited production.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with customers, document findings, and help drive continuous improvements while complying with ISO procedures and safety policies. Up to 15% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related semiconductor field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience in CMP industry or related field.
• MS Office and ERP system software literate.

Responsibilities

• Drive process implementations for novel device and wafer substrate technologies.
• Prepare processing tools, wafers, consumables and metrology equipment for production or development.
• Support, organize, report and analyze data generated for and by the customer.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and resolve complex process and technical issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with customers to meet evolving needs.
