Base pay range

$90.00/hr - $110.00/hr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a CMOD and z/OS Programmer for a remote role. This position requires a Senior z/OS Systems Programmer who can use our processes and procedures to:

• Install, customize and upgrade the z/OS Operating System and OEM/ISV software products
• Install and configure CMOD on z/OS
• Adapt to our work environment including but not limited to participating in an on-call rotation and working overtime as business needs require
• Produce clear, concise, accurate oral and written communication, conveying thoughts and ideas to peers, management, and customers
• Establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, and customers displaying willingness to understand diverse points of view
• Perform complex problem determination/resolution/root cause working with vendor support as needed
• Support Disaster Recovery exercises
• Meet all compliance and security requirements for audits
• Document details of assignments not included in IBM's processes and procedures to allow team members to assist with or assume them
• BMC - STOPX37 maintenance and upgrade from 7.9 to 8.0 upgrade & migration

• Provides database management capabilities and supports upgrades and migrations between versions
  
  

IBM Workload Scheduler

• Offers job scheduling and automation, including maintenance and migration capabilities
• IBM File Manager: Manages MVS and IMS data sets and DB2 databases, similar to Broadcom FileMaster
• IBM JCL Checker:Validates JCL syntax and execution, ensuring correct job control language.
• IBM Content Manager OnDemand LDAP Sync: Synchronizes users and groups between LDAP-compliant directory servers and Content Manager OnDemand
  
  

Requirements

• Experience with IBM CMOD implementation on z/OS
• Technical experience in z/OS, CDMOD, JES2/3, UNIX, OMVS, SMP/E, SDSF, TSO/E and ISPF, JCL IBM Utilities, RACF, IPCS, FSMS, TCP/IP, Parallel Sysplex, Assembler, REXX, HMC, Netview, IPL, ZOSMF, GDPS/XRC, System Automation, and Open SSH
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
