Job summary

Wolfspeed, based in Durham, NC, is seeking a CMMS System Owner to join the Global Facilities Services team. You will serve as the subject matter expert and consultative decision maker for the Facilities CMMS, overseeing the buildout and continuous improvement of the platform and maintenance workflows.

The CMMS System Owner will work at the enterprise level to implement maintenance and reliability programs to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in facilities engineering or maintenance.
• 2+ years in implementing or maintaining Enterprise Asset Management or CMMS; SQL knowledge preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or related STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain enterprise standards for CMMS to align sites.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across sites to drive standardization.
• Create and maintain standardized KPIs to measure processes.
• Develop an interactive KPI dashboard for site and department status.
• Oversee and provide technical direction for the CMMS team.
• Develop and direct Inventory Management program.
• Sustain CMMS functionality with assets, maintenance plans, and reports.
• Work with site CMMS Engineers to optimize CMMS usage and procedures.
• Coordinate with IT to maintain peripherals and database performance.

Based in Durham, NC, Wolfspeed is seeking a CMMS System Owner to join the Global Facilities Services team. You will serve as the subject matter expert and consultative decision maker for the Facilities CMMS, overseeing the buildout and continuous improvement of the platform and maintenance workflows. The CMMS System Owner will work at the enterprise level to implement maintenance and reliability programs to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.

The Day-to-Day

• Establish and sustain enterprise standards and processes for our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in order to align multiple sites and create a blueprint for future locations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sites to ensure and drive best practices and standardization.
• Create and maintain standardized Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by which to measure the effectiveness of our processes, workflows, etc.
• Develop and maintain an interactive KPI Dashboard to review and analyze the status of individual sites and the Facilities department as a whole.
• Oversee and provide technical direction for the CMMS team.
• Develop and direct Inventory Management program.
• Sustain and improve CMMS functionality through management of assets, asset hierarchy, maintenance plans, work orders, and specific reporting to drive progress.
• Work with site CMMS Engineers to enhance utilization of the system; develop controlled documents for CMMS use and standardization; train team members on overall maintenance processes; and adapt specific procedures to optimize the capabilities for the intended Wolfspeed site.
• Work with IT teams to maintain up-to-date peripherals to sustain optimum performance of the CMMS system and databases.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements)

• 4+ years of experience in facilities engineering or maintenance. Semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2+ years in implementing or maintaining Enterprise Asset Management or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. Experience with SQL databases and query script is preferred.
• Maintenance Connection (CMMS) experience is highly desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related STEM discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau is preferred.
• Experience implementing preventive maintenance and/or reliability programs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
• High degree of organization and attention to detail is required.
