Job summary

Prairie Band, LLC in Holton, Kansas is seeking an IT Specialist to manage and secure the organization’s IT infrastructure with a strong focus on CMMC and CMMI compliance. This onsite role reports to the SVP of Staffing and drives IT operations, compliance initiatives, and secure systems management aligned with business goals.

The position encompasses IT operations, cybersecurity, risk management, vendor coordination, and employee training to uphold security standards across the HQ enclave.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with CMMC and/or CMMI compliance.
• Certifications such as CMMC Professional, CMMI Associate, CompTIA Security+, CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT operations and oversee network security, data storage, and system administration.
• Lead implementation of CMMC and CMMI practices within IT operations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments for compliance and document outcomes.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and risk assessments.
• Coordinate technology procurement and vendor management.
• Provide cybersecurity training and drive organization-wide security awareness.
