Job summary

JVIS is seeking a CMM Technician to run CMM programs from customer CAD data or prints and perform dimensional studies. You will coordinate layout inspection requests to ensure timely results and prevent project delays.

The role reports to the Quality Manager and requires experience with PC-DMIS, GD&T, metrology, and writing CMM programs. You will operate inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gage, while maintaining compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred with metrology experience.
• Experience with PC-DMIS, GD&T, metrology, and blueprint reading.
• Strong math and statistics; ability to write inspection programs.

Responsibilities

• Represent JVIS to customer QA meetings and report issues with corrective actions.
• Perform part layouts, capability studies, GR&R and gage inspections.
• Perform dimensional studies per quality plan and report statistics.
• Maintain documented procedures to control CMM and software.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gage.
