Schedule: MondayThursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM

About the Role

A growing aerospace manufacturing facility in Troy, OH is urgently seeking a CMM Quality Inspector to join their night shift team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring dimensional accuracy and product quality during off-hours production. Youll perform detailed inspections using advanced metrology tools and CMM equipment in a fast-paced but supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) with PC-DMIS software
  • Perform 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections
  • Interpret engineering drawings with strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Use inspection tools including OD Micrometers, Comparators, Pitch Micrometers, and Depth Micrometers
  • Inspect for and measure circular runout, total runout, and cylindricity
  • Record precise inspection results and maintain documentation
  • Work independently while coordinating with day shift QA as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating a CMM (PC-DMIS strongly )
  • Solid understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
  • Proficient with precision instruments: OD Mics, Pitch Mics, Depth Mics, Comparators, etc.
  • Experience inspecting complex components with tight tolerances
  • Reliable and self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Experience using Sheffield and Brown & Sharpe CMM machines
  • Stable work history with a strong focus on quality and detail
  • Ability to thrive in a high-output manufacturing environment
