Atlas Group is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to design DMIS (CMM) programs for customer parts and shop tooling. The role involves validating programs, providing setup documentation, and maintaining programming master files.

The candidate will work closely with manufacturing planners and CNC shop personnel, applying lean methods and integrating new technology to improve productivity and product quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to design and create DMIS CMM programs for customer parts.

Responsibilities

• Designs and creates DMIS (CMM) programs for customer parts.
• Designs and creates DMIS (CMM) programs for shop aid tooling.
• Provides accurate CMM setup documentation.
• Validates CMM programs prior to production release using verification software.
• Approves and places CMM programs and setup information for operators.
• Troubleshoots CMM programming related issues.
• Maintains master files of programming.
• Optimizes cycle times for cost effectiveness.
• Integrates new technology to stay productive.
