Job summary

Electrolux Group is seeking a detail-oriented CMM Programmer and Quality Technician for the 2nd shift (3:30pm-11:00pm) at the Kinston, North Carolina plant. You will inspect incoming raw materials and in-process components, operating and programming CMMs, and supporting quality initiatives to ensure conformance to engineering specifications and customer requirements.

You will develop CMM programs, analyze measurement data, and maintain thorough quality records in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

4+ years of experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or quality environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
Strong understanding of GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect machined, fabricated, and assembled components.
Develop, modify, and optimize CMM programs based on drawings and GD&T.
Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
Serve as subject matter expert for metallurgy and material characterization in QA.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specs, and GD&T.
Analyze inspection results and generate reports on compliance or nonconformance.
Verify dimensional accuracy using CMMs, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.
