Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing, a leading automotive supplier, is seeking a QC layout and CMM programming specialist in Spartanburg, SC. You will plan layouts, program CMMs, and conduct capability studies to verify processes and parts to print for PPAP submission.

You will work on a 1st Shift and collaborate with a team focused on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement. A BS degree and 1–2 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from a 4-year college or university.
• One to two years related experience and/or training.
• Strong understanding of measurement systems and GD&T.
• Ability to work with CMMs, PC-DMIS, PolyWorks and RM scanning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct proper layout information for products using customer formats.
• Program and operate CMM machines and maintain lab equipment.
• Conduct process capability studies to verify materials and products.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the CMM lab.
