Job summary

Ilocatum in Connecticut is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer/Inspector to support dimensional inspection of machined components and verify conformance to drawings. This role emphasizes accurate inspection documentation and adherence to design controls, including AS9102 first article inspection requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of CMM experience, proficiency with PC-DMIS and CATIA, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

3–5 years of CMM experience.
Proficiency with PC-DMIS and CATIA software.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional requirements.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate inspection findings clearly and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to inspect machined components.
Verify part geometry and dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications.
Ensure inspection documentation and design controls are appropriate and accurate.
Complete first article inspection reports in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
Document inspection results and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
Work with production, engineering, and quality personnel to resolve inspection issues.
