Northern Iron LLC is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our quality control team as a CMM Programmer/Inspector.

Hours and pay

1st shift 6:00 AM- 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday (plus overtime as needed on Fridays)

Regular Pay $28-$35/hour - Pay is based on experience.

What is the job?

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Program and operate the coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
• Inspect parts to ensure conformance
• Perform First Article Inspection in Accordance with drawing requirements
• Work with a team to meet manufacturing deadlines
• CMM Operating, Programming and Romer arm experience Required - PC-DMIS
• Collect Measurement data for FAI reports
• Review routers to ensure that upstream operations have been completed and signed off
• Collect and provide data required for PPAP process
• Complete non-conforming material notices required for rejected parts
• Inspect Incoming and Outgoing materials for compliance, specifications, and conformance requirements
