Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing in Rock Hill, SC, is seeking a CMM Programmer responsible for creating and improving CMM programs for dimensional conformance of parts. You'll collaborate with quality and design engineers to ensure accurate inspections for complex aerospace parts.

This role requires at least an associate’s degree and CMM programming experience, with expertise in coordinate measurement machines and GD & T. Join us in making a difference in manufacturing while sharing in our success!

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an associate’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field and 1+ years of CMM programming experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise with coordinate measurement machines and associated software.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and acceptance test procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Writes fixed-bed CMM programs to execute complex inspections.
  • Works with Quality Engineers and Design Engineers to ensure inspections meet requirements.
  • Continuously improves inspection processes.
  • Plans and accurately executes First Article Inspections.
  • Ensures quality technicians are executing inspection plans accurately.
  • Acts as subject matter expert for GD & T.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a CMM Programmer to create and improve CMM programs to evaluate dimensional conformance of parts. This position is responsible for working with internal and external customers to ensure we can measure complex aerospace parts in an accurate and repeatable way.

  • Writes fixed‑bed CMM programs to execute complex inspections
  • Works with Quality Engineers and Design Engineers to ensure inspections are appropriate for customer and internal requirements
  • Continuously improves inspection processes
  • Plans and accurately executes First Article Inspections in coordination with Quality Engineers and Technicians
  • Ensures quality technicians are accurately executing inspection plans
  • Advises engineering on tolerancing and inspection methods throughout design and development process
  • Acts as subject matter expert for GD & T
What you will bring to the team
  • Minimum of associate’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field and 1+ years of CMM programming experience OR 5+ years of CMM programming experience
  • Demonstrated expertise with coordinate measurement machines and associated software (PC‑DMIS preferred)
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and acceptance test procedures, including full knowledge of reading geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Experience operating within an AS9100 and ISO9001 facility
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector a plus
