Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Writing and optimizing CMM inspection routines.
• Conducting first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Preparing ballooned drawings and FAI documentation.
• Generating inspection reports for internal teams and customers.
• Training operators on basic CMM use.
• Assisting in designing fixtures with the tool room.

Job description

Must-haves

• CMM programming and operation in a machining or manufacturing setting
• PC-DMIS proficiency (strongly preferred)
• Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation
• Dimensional inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges)
• ISO 9001 quality system experience

Nice-to-haves

• IATF 16949 or AS9100
• Creo, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD
• CNC milling and turning familiarity
• QC-Calc or other SPC software
• Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
