Job summary

Linamar Corporation in Indiana is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to develop and maintain CMM programs for inspecting CNC machined parts. Travel to multiple plants may be required.

Responsibilities include creating programs, performing capability studies, GD&T analysis, and training others in program operations. Proficiency with Calypso and MCOSMOS, and experience with Zeiss and Mitutoyo CMMs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CMM Programmer with specific expertise in CMM machines.
• Proficiency in CMM programming software such as Calypso (Zeiss) and MCOSMOS (Mitutoyo).
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Balloon prints for PPAP submissions and I.S.I.R.’s.
• Responsible for measuring parts and reporting any findings to DOQ in support of all validation activities.
• Develop CMM work instructions.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints.
• Able to set up data box in metrology.
• Travel to multiple plants may be required.

Academic/Educational Requirements
