Job summary

Cascade Engineering Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented CMM Operator / Quality Inspector to certify aerospace components to customer requirements. You will operate CMM machines and perform manual inspections using micrometers, calipers, pin gages, depth gages, and inspection fixtures.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and 1–2 years in quality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected, as well as the ability to read GD&T and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in a quality position or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read GD&T.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with basic inspection tools (micrometer, calipers, pin gage, depth gage).
• Team oriented with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and visual inspection of aerospace product using customer requirements.
• Operate a variety of CMM machines.
• Use hand tools for inspections (micrometer, calipers, pin gage, depth gage, etc.).
• Verify supplier certification to ensure they meet engineering requirements.
• Reject or accept product based on inspection results.
• Document inspections using Microsoft products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Job Overview:

This person is detail oriented to certify and inspect aerospace product to customer requirements. Expected to be able to use various inspection tools during these tasks. This will include the use of Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Both manual and visual inspection of aerospace product using customer provided engineering requirements.
• Operation of a variety of CMM machines.
• Use of hand tool for inspections. Such as Micrometer, Calipers, Pin gage, Depth Gage, Inspection Fixtures, etc…
