Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM equipment to inspect manufactured components.
• Develop CMM programs based on engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
• Operate Zeiss G2 5-axis CMM equipment.
• Use Calypso software to create, modify, and execute inspection programs.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and Catia annotations.
• Perform dimensional and layout inspections.
• Determine appropriate inspection methods and measurement requirements.
• Verify parts meet dimensional and engineering specifications.
• Analyze CMM inspection results and identify discrepancies.
• Document inspection results accurately.
• Maintain inspection records and required quality documentation.

• Ensure CMM equipment and precision measuring equipment are properly maintained.

CMM Operator / Programmer - Position Summary

The CMM Operator / Programmer is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machines to verify manufactured components meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. This position will develop and execute CMM programs, perform dimensional inspections, interpret GD&T and engineering documentation, and provide accurate inspection results to support manufacturing and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong CMM programming experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex engineering requirements and translate them into accurate inspection programs.

• Strong GD&T knowledge
• Catia annotation experience preferred

• NDT Level I, II, or III certification in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection is preferred but not required
• Weld Inspector certification is preferred but not required
