Job Title: CMM Operator - Titanium Aerospace Parts Production - Weekend Shift

Primary Purpose

Inspect machined and un-machined castings, wax patterns, and fixtures using manual and automated CMM devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect castings, wax patterns, and fixtures with manual and automated CMM.
• Utilize hand-held measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).
• Complete detailed inspection reports and review dimensional data.
• Collaborate closely with engineering.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Self-motivated with good math skills.
• Experience inspecting raw and machined castings and first articles.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to perform precise machine setups.
• Positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• At least 18 years old; HS diploma or equivalent required, relevant experience considered.
• Solid job history with over 1 year at previous employers.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of aerospace casting inspection experience and familiarity with inspection equipment.
• Experience operating manual CMM, automated CMM, or CNC machines.
• Knowledge of OpenDMIS, Calypso, CMM, and CNC programming.
• CAD experience.

Working Conditions

• Work near moving mechanical parts.

Schedule

• Weekend shift
