Job description

We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator to support our clients growing metrology operations. This individual will be responsible for operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) onsite using our equipment to perform precision inspections of machined and manufactured components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CMMs to inspect parts per customer and engineering specifications
• Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and inspection requirements
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
• Document inspection results and generate reports
• Work collaboratively with quality and production teams to ensure compliance
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications:

• Experience operating CMMs in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment
• Proficiency with CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, CMM Manager)
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Willingness to transition into a second-shift role as needed
