Job summary

Doncasters in Groton, CT is seeking a CMM Operative to perform precision dimensional inspections on aerospace castings and machined components using CMM and conventional inspection equipment. The role requires reading engineering drawings and GD&T, with a focus on quality and conformance.

You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production to maintain product conformity and support continuous improvement initiatives while working Monday to Friday, 2pm–10:30pm.

The Role:

The CMM Operative (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Operator is responsible for performing precision dimensional inspections on aerospace castings and machined components using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and conventional inspection equipment. This role ensures products meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, customer specifications, and internal quality standards. The CMM Operator works closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production to maintain product conformity and support continuous improvement initiatives.
