Job summary

Doncasters in Groton, CT, is seeking a CMM Operative to perform precision dimensional inspections on aerospace castings and machined components using CMM and traditional inspection equipment.

The role collaborates with Quality, Engineering and Production to ensure drawings and GD&T compliance, drive continuous improvement, and maintain product conformity. Shift is Monday to Friday, 2pm–10:30pm, with benefits and growth opportunities.

The Role:

The CMM Operative (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Operator is responsible for performing precision dimensional inspections on aerospace castings and machined components using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and conventional inspection equipment. This role ensures products meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, customer specifications, and internal quality standards. The CMM Operator works closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production to maintain product conformity and support continuous improvement initiatives.
