Job summary

Reader Precision Solutions is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer/Quality Technician to develop, program, and optimize metrology and quality inspection systems, including Zeiss CMMs, Keyence, Oasis, and other precision equipment.

The role requires 2+ years of metrology programming in a manufacturing setting, with responsibilities spanning routine programming, training, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with client standards. Wisconsin-based, full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years of metrology programming or quality systems experience in manufacturing.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.
Hands-on experience programming CMMs (Calypso), Keyence, Oasis, or equivalent systems.

Responsibilities

Program, optimize, and maintain Zeiss CMMs and other inspection systems.
Create and refine inspection routines from drawings and specifications.
Develop and document work instructions and standard procedures for using quality equipment.
Train staff on inspection equipment usage and best practices.
Troubleshoot software and hardware issues in the quality lab.
Collaborate with engineering to validate inspection setups and measurement strategies.
Support first article inspection and production validation processes.
Stay current on metrology software advances and industry standards.
