Job summary

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints and dimensions.
• Performs mathematical calculations, analytic geometry and trigonometry.
• Generates layout and inspection reports from measurements.

Responsibilities

• Layout inspection of castings, dies, wax patterns, and fixtures.
• Measure and record dimensions using CMMs and conventional equipment.
• Prepare and review layout reports describing measurements.
• Compare measurements to customer requirements and standards.
• Identify probable causes of deviations with Engineering.
