Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is seeking a talented CMM Operator to inspect aerospace parts in conformance with work instructions and customer specifications. The role involves setting up and operating CMM equipment, logging results, and coordinating with the quality team to meet production schedules.

This FAA-regulated facility requires a HS diploma with at least 1 year of relevant experience. The weekend shift runs Friday through Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with overtime opportunities

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Appropriately log and communicate results and out-of-spec parts.

Our shop located in Springdale, AR is looking for a talented CMM Operator.

This position is responsible for inspecting aerospace parts in conformance with work instructions and customer specifications.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other various measuring instruments and equipment.

• Review schedules and assist in planning, coordinating and utilizing resources daily to meet company and customer commitments
• Communicate within and outside of the quality department to report on parts status
• Assist in resolution of operational, quality, and/or maintenance resource issues when they arise
• Report maintenance related issues with equipment to appropriate personnel Notify other shifts of problems encountered and steps towards resolution Work in a team environment to accomplish work and solve problems
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives.

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
