Pratt & Whitney in Springdale, AR is seeking a 1st shift Dimensional Inspector in Building 1. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and is onsite in a FAA-regulated facility focused on gas turbine engine case and component repair.

You will inspect parts using prints, gauges and measuring tools, ensuring conformance to specs, and collaborate with engineering and customer requirements throughout receiving, in-process and final inspections.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings/prints and working to specifications.
• Experience in aerospace or related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect engine cases to verify conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions, layouts, gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections at receiving, in-process and final inspection stages and report discrepancies.
• Work with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
• Utilize scribes, verniers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, micrometers and indicators for measurements.

What You Will Do:

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a 1st shift Dimensional Inspector in Building 1.Days/hours are Monday - Friday; 6:30 am – 3:00 pm. Pratt & Whitney PSD provides the aviation industry with capabilities for specialized repair of gas turbine engine cases and components.

• This position is responsible for processing and inspecting a variety of engine cases to determine and verify conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions, layouts, gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment.


• Performing visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process and final inspections and reporting any discrepancies found during the inspection process.


• Working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.


• Performing work using scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers and indicators.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:
