Job summary

GE Aerospace Beavercreek site is seeking a CMM Inspector to inspect production hardware, write and optimize CMM programs, and perform capability studies. You will interpret drawings and GD&T to ensure compliant inspections and work closely with cell engineering to drive improvements.

Applicants should have CMM experience, machining knowledge, and the ability to use calipers and micrometers. This full-time, on-site role includes shift differentials and safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of CMM experience.
• Knowledge of MIL-I-45208 and MIL-C-45662.
• Understand and interpret ANSI Y 14.5, B89.3.2 and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect production hardware for conformance to specs and drawings using a CMM or automated measuring system.
• Write CMM programs for new parts and improve existing programs.
• Perform process capability analysis using existing formats/tools.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve issues and implement new inspection programs.
