Job summary

Searchmasters Inc. seeks an experienced CMM inspection technician to set up and operate CMM equipment in a precision bearing manufacturing setting. You will program PC-DMIS, perform first-piece and in-process inspections, and verify final parts using micrometers, calipers and GD&T.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work in a union environment. On-site opportunities in Ohio may apply.

Qualifications

• Set-up and operate CMM in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using PC-DMIS for programming and inspection.
• Familiarity with GD&T and measurement standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CMM (PC-DMIS) of bearings in a union manufacturing environment.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges and GD&T on first piece, in-process and final inspection of parts.
• Perform dimensional layout tasks.
