Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking a CMM Field Service Technician in Michigan, field-based, with a salary of USD 65,000–80,000 per annum. Bonus up to $550 monthly; travel up to 80% with occasional overnight stays.

Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CMMs at customer sites in ISO-compliant environments. The role requires servicing, calibration, and repair expertise, proficiency with PC-DMIS/PolyWorks/CMM software, and the ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical

Qualifications

• CMM service, maintenance, calibration, or repair experience.
• Working knowledge of PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, CMM Manager, or MCOSMOS.
• Knowledge of machine controls, servo drives, encoders, and feedback systems.
• Experience using laser interferometers, alignment lasers, oscilloscopes, and DVMs.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Service, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair CMMs and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, encoder, and control-feedback faults.
• Prepare equipment for relocation and complete alignment work.
• Ensure all work meets customer requirements and ISO standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
