Job summary

Unknown is seeking a CMM Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair coordinate measuring machines at customer sites across Greer, SC. This field-based role requires travel up to 80% and offers a competitive base with a monthly bonus potential.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CMMs, PC-DMIS, and related software, plus strong electrical/mechanical drawing interpretation and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• CMM service, maintenance, calibration, or repair experience.
• Knowledge of PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, CMM Manager, or MCOSMOS.
• Knowledge of machine controls, servo drives, encoders, and feedback systems.
• Experience using laser interferometers, alignment lasers, oscilloscopes, and DVMs.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Salary: $65,000-$80,000 DOE
Bonus: Up to $550 per month
Travel: Up to 80%, including occasional overnight stays

A leading precision metrology provider is seeking a CMM Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair coordinate measuring machines at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Service, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair CMMs and related equipment

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, encoder, and control-feedback faults
