Job summary

DuHadaway Tool and Die Shop in Newark, Delaware is seeking a CMM and Precision Quality Assurance Inspector (ISO 9001) to perform dimensional inspections on turbine components and machined parts using CMM and precision gauges. The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing quality inspection, GD&T interpretation, and detailed documentation.

Work in a climate-controlled environment with 1st or 2nd shift options, and collaborate with Production to troubleshoot quality issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in manufacturing/machining quality inspection roles.
• Proficiency reading/interpreting precision measurements.
• Hands-on experience setting up and using height gages, verniers, micrometers, thread/bore gages, and dial indicators.
• Proficiency reading prints, drawings, BOMs, specs, and work instructions; working knowledge of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections on turbine components and machined parts per drawings and standards.
• Execute first-article and in-process checks on the shop floor.
• Document inspection findings accurately and maintain quality records.
• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
