Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking a full-time Color, Material, Finish (CMF) Designer 2 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you'll collaborate with Engineering and Design stakeholders to achieve superior results on CMF projects. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design and at least 3 years of related experience.

This position requires a strong knowledge of materials, effective communication skills, and the ability to lead CMF development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years work experience as a CMF Designer or related field.
• Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods, including plastics, metals, and coatings.
• High color acuity and ability to pass color tests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders on CMF projects.
• Leads the development of CMF solutions for consumer products.
• Researches data from trend services to guide CMF decisions.
