Job Title : CME QA Tester

Rate : Market Rate

Location : Chicago, IL

Duration: 6 Month Contract

Description:

Mid level QA Analyst with 4+ years of experience.

• Experience with breaking down the requirements, preparing test strategy/test plan documents, preparing test designs & setting up test environment.
• Experience in test case authoring, execution and reporting.
• Strong understanding of testing life cycle, including Agile methodologies.
• Experience with end-to-end testing, interaction/integration with multiple downstream systems.
• Familiarity with Java based environments & IDEs like Eclipse/IntelliJ.
• Knowledge of test and defect management tools (Quality Center, Jira).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and able to write simple to complex queries in Oracle/SQL server DB.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Highly analytical, proactive and detail oriented.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with development of test harness (Java) as part of internal testing a plus.
• Automated test script execution, experience with automation tool a plus.
• Financial domain knowledge a plus.

Desired Skill Sets

• API testing experience.
• Experience with Java, SQL/Oracle, Unix.
• Understanding of trading concepts.
