Job Details

The CPD Education Coordinator supports the management of Jefferson's accredited and non-accredited continuing professional education activities, including planning, marketing, implementation, financing, and related needs. They are primarily responsible for executing activity plans as approved, in collaboration with Senior Staff. The coordinator also manages regular programs and special events, and assists in tracking financial activities and contracts.

Job Description

Essential Functions

  1. Organizes and manages educational programs and/or special events, both internal and external to the Jefferson community.
  2. Maintains related course files required by accrediting bodies, including attendance summaries and evaluations.
  3. Implements approved planning, marketing, and execution of programs and meetings, coordinating logistics, managing communication, and utilizing registration databases.
  4. Tracks and manages finances related to OCPD activities, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, credit card transactions, honoraria, and other payments. Verifies expenses before processing payments.
  5. Coordinates fundraising efforts through solicitation of exhibitors/vendors, adhering to accreditation and university guidelines.
  6. Contributes to the development of procedures and processes to support efficient operations.
  7. Staffs educational activities at Jefferson and off-site locations.
  8. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff in alignment with Jefferson's values.
  9. Uses and inputs data into the learning management system to monitor educational activities.
  10. Completes assigned duties as required.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in education, business, or related fields.

Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
