Position Summary:
The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering has an ongoing need for Adjunct Professors to teach a variety of graduate courses in the area of Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Pharmaceutical Engineering.
Essential Functions:
Develop and deliver lectures, prepare and grade assignments, design laboratory experiments (if needed), and assess student learning. Learn and use online course management system - Canvas. Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
Ph.D. degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering or related field such as Biomedical, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering; At the university's discretion the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industrial experience is an added advantage. Ph.D. preferred with previous college teaching experience.
