Job summary

Net2Source Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in Clinton Township, MI. The position is a contract role with varied shifts, including some late nights and one Saturday per month if needed.

You will assist with patient examinations, take vital signs, prepare rooms, and support providers with treatments and documentation. Requires phlebotomy, vaccines knowledge, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have phlebotomy skills and minimal clerical duties.
• Patient care and administration of medications; knowledge of vaccines.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
• High School equivalency and Medical Assistant certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
• Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
• May document the provider's encounter with patients. Transcribes orders including lab tests, radiology tests and medications.
