OU Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for the Adult Urology Clinic. The role supports physicians and advanced practice providers in direct patient care and administrative duties in an ambulatory setting.

Two levels apply based on experience. A sign-on bonus up to $2,000 is offered for qualified individuals, with full-time, on-site employment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 0-3 years patient care experience preferred for CMA I.
• 3-5 years experience for CMA II is required with relevant credentials.

Responsabilités

• TakeVitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals as directed.
• Monitor and document patient status and organize workflow to meet needs.
• Assist with procedures and maintain sterile fields.
• Transcribe prescriptions and manage scheduling with other providers.
• Provide patient education on medications and post-care instructions.
• Support compliance audits and safety reporting.
