Job summary

Summit Medical Group of Clinton is seeking an experienced CMA/RMA/LPN with X-ray certification to join our clinical team. This full-time position involves patient prep, procedures, and direct patient care under physician supervision.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited program, TN Practical Nursing license or CMA/RMA certification with X-ray; 1 year of office experience preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program in practical nursing or medical assisting.
• TN license in Practical Nursing or nationally certified in Medical Assisting with X-Ray certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares them for examinations and procedures.
• Records vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, height, etc.).
• Performs procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, holter monitors, etc.
• Assists physicians with procedures and administers medications; conducts patient education.
• Handles telephone nursing, triage, referrals, and calls in prescriptions.
• Performs clerical duties and contacts patients regarding test results or other notifications.
• Schedules patient appointments and manages clinical time slots efficiently.
• Maintains neat, stocked exam rooms and common work areas daily.
