Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the state and maintain a CNA certification in good standing.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Practice the five rights of medication administration.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Label, store, receive and destroy medication per policy.
• Perform medication charting as directed by Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.

Education

Certified Medication Aide (QMA) / Certified Medication Aide (CMA) state certification

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in good standing
