Gardens Assisted Living at Luther Park Community is seeking a part-time Certified Med Aide/Med Manager for a 6am-2:30pm shift, six days per week with every other weekend. The CMA assists residents under nurse direction, administers medications, and helps with daily activities in a home-like environment.

They chart in Point Click Care, support safety, and may perform CNAs-type duties as assigned. The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and dedication to high-quality elder care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medication Aide certificate or Iowa medication manager course certificate required.
• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

A Certified Medication Aide/Med Manageris an important member of the overall care team at the Gardens Assisted Living.While working under the direction of a nurse, CMA's administermedications, help with daily activities and assist residents in a home-likeenvironment. CMA's also assist memory care residents by prompting,cueing, problem-solving and redirection. The CMA charts in electronichealth records (Point Click Care) and helps maintain the safety and security ofresidents. CMA's also assist nursing personnel by providing routine CNAtype duties as assigned.
