Piedmont Columbus Med. Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform a range of patient care tasks under the supervision of a physician, APP, or RN. The role emphasizes following established guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Ideal candidates will have a GED or higher, completion of a medical assistant or nursing assistant program, and certifications such as CMA or NCMA. Entry-level experience is considered, with opportunities for growth within the Piedmont network.

Qualificações

• 1 year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required may substitute education.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required or
• In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required or
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT Required
