Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Tuscola Walk-in Clinic. This part-time (20 hours/week) position covers 3 days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with alternating weekends. Responsibilities include assisting providers, taking measurements, managing patient data, and ensuring clean, stocked exam rooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• CMA-Certified Medical Assistant; Registered Medical Assistant recognized.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication as directed by the provider.
• Assists providers with patient exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Performs clinical measurements and data collection.
• Documents data and provider-directed information in patient records clearly and accurately.
• Schedules patients for diagnostic, therapeutic, or additional visits.
• Cleans and stocks exam rooms and work spaces to maintain supply levels.
• Performs and documents routine laboratory duties as directed.
• Relays information between providers and patients and other care staff.
