Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians is seeking qualified healthcare staff to provide patient care under supervision within Georgia. Ideal candidates will have completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program and relevant certifications, or at least one year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities include supporting clinicians in delivering care and adhering to established guidelines. Applicants should possess BCLS and relevant CMA/NCMA certifications as required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• CMA-AAMA certification or NCMA-NCTT required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision of a physician, APP, or RN in accordance with guidelines.

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Work Experience

Licenses and Certifications
