Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a temp-to-hire opportunity in McLean, VA. The LVN will provide direct nursing care within the LVN scope and support providers and the healthcare team.

Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves documenting vital signs, assisting with examinations, administering medications, patient education, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LVN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care within the LVN scope of practice.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient care.
• Perform patient intake, screenings, and follow-up activities.

Position Overview
