Job summary

KARE in Austin, TX seeks compassionate caregivers to provide medication assistance, daily living support, and resident care. You will work under supervision, documenting care and maintaining confidentiality while ensuring safety and well-being of residents.

Must hold a CMA license, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 51 lbs. English proficiency required; memory care experience a plus. Competitive pay and flexible shifts offered.

Qualifications

• CMA certification required and valid in TX.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance as ordered.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication following guidelines.
• Report changes in residents' condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Maintain resident records for medication, activities, incidents and observations.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility as needed.
• Follow the care schedule set by the supervisor and respect confidentiality.
• Provide emotional and social support; maintain a positive demeanor.
